A Quilt from the Heart

When my aunt Toogie asked if I'd gotten a special box delivered from her, I asked if she was in it. She told me no, but after I opened the box up, I'm pretty sure she was just teasing. Because this is my Aunt Toogie. This is the way she creates, the way she thinks, the way she loves. She's been quilting my entire life and longer and I love to think that I'm like her. The fact that she took the time to make this gorgeous piece of art for me makes me feel like the luckiest girl in the world. 

Because my Aunt Toogie's quilts are seriously one of the best things on earth.
